Our National Pastime

June 13th-29th, 2025
Joining a stellar team of Actors and creatives, Joe plays the roles of David, Nat, and a Ballplayer in the premiere of this intriguing new play written by Rogelio Martinez, and directed by Johanna McKeon. The plot revolves in and around the worlds of Diplomacy, Espionage, and Major league Baseball along the backdrop of The Us & Cuban relations between 2016-2021.
Cut Them Down - Audiobook
Joe completed narration and production work on his latest audiobook project: Cut Them Down, by author T.G. Brown. It’s available now on Audible and will soon be available on other platforms! This one is an old-school Western tale, testing our notions of what makes “good” and “bad” guys within that genre.
Stage Mother Workshop
In March of 2025, Joe was cast in a developmental stage workshop of the new musical Stage Mother, produced & presented at New 42 Studios, NYC. It’s based on the 2020 film of the same title. Both the 2020 original screenplay was, and this current musical version is, penned by Brad Hennig. Its Direction & Choreography is by Denis Jones, with a musical score by the amazing duo of Marcy Heisler (Lyrics) & Zina Goldrich (Music). Joe plays Jeb, opposite Broadway rock star Emily Skinner as the tale’s lead, Maybelline. The cast is a who’s who of broadway luminaries, and rising, stars. The story told here couldn’t be more relevant to our times. Our lead producer is the amazing Kevin McCollum and his team.
